Physical AppearanceEdit

Jack has a lean face and dark hair, and is missing his left canine tooth. He is taller than his younger brother, but the family resemblance between them is obvious.

  • Jack is derived from Jackin (earlier Jankin), a medieval diminutive of John. John was the English form of Iohannes, the Latin form of the Greek name Ιωαννης (Ioannes), itself derived from the Hebrew name יוֹחָנָן (Yochanan) meaning "YAHWEH is gracious".[1][2]
  • Byrd as a surname is a variant of Bird, which was an occupational name for a person who raised or hunted birds.[3]
