Dragonfly in AmberEdit

Claire enlists Jenny's help in setting up the field hospital at Tranent during the Battle of Prestonpans

A force to be reckoned with, Jenny doesn't like to miss out on the excitement during the rebellion, and likes to be in charge.

Physical AppearanceEdit

Jenny has a freckly face and an undershot jaw, which Claire likens to a "good-humored bulldog".[1]

  • Jenny was originally a medieval English diminutive of Jane, a feminine form of the name John.[2][3] John was ultimately derived from the Hebrew name יוֹחָנָן (Yochanan) meaning "YAHWEH is gracious".[4]
  • Cameron comes from the Gaelic cam-shron meaning "crooked nose" or "hooked nose".[5]

  • The biography of Jeanie (Jenny) Cameron is thought to be a compilation of several different women of the same name.
