PersonalityEdit

Definitely one to hold a grudge, Murchison was the sort that might be innocuous on his own, but became cruel and ruthless when influenced by others so inclined.

Physical AppearanceEdit

Murchison is described as a good-sized man, thick through torso and shoulders, with beefy, pockmarked cheeks.

NameEdit

  • William comes from the Germanic name Willahelm, which was composed of the elements wil "will, desire" and helm "helmet, protection".[2]
  • Murchison is an anglicized form of Scottish and northern Irish of the Gaelic name Mac Mhurchaidh (in which the Gaelic patronymic prefix Mac has been translated into the English patronymic suffix -son). Mac Mhurchaidh is a patronymic from the personal name Murchadh, composed of the elements muir 'sea' + cath 'battle', hence 'sea warrior'.[3]
